The ACT composite averages your four core section scores. Identify your lowest section early and allocate extra review time there.
English allows ~36 seconds per question, Math ~60 seconds, Reading ~53 seconds. Practice with a timer until pacing feels automatic.
There is no penalty for wrong answers. Eliminate obviously wrong choices, then make your best guess on every question.
On Reading and Science passages, skim the question before diving into the text so you know what evidence to look for.
